ViewSonic PRO8200 1080p 2,000 Lumens Home Theater Projector

I largely selected this ViewSonic PRO8200 1080p 2,000 Lumens Home Theater Projector for the resolution. You won't be disappointed. I have used this for playing 360 games on it and movies and it is awesome. Too many other projectors are cheaper, but you just can't fit much content on your screen.
Buy ViewSonic PRO8200 HD 1080p 1920x1080 2000 Lumens Home Theater DLP Projector
The Viewsonic Pro8200 is a 1080p projector that costs less than $1,000:

This ViewSonic PRO8200 Projector is a light cannon. Super bright. Running it in Eco mode is fine even in a room that has ambient light. Blu Ray and HD-DVD performance is stunning. Awsome image clairity and sharpness. Rich, bright colors, good contrast and shadows. Coupled with the bright image the picture is very, very vibrant.

This ViewSonic PRO8200 1080p 2,000 Lumens projector is everything I hoped it would have been and more. I had originally bought a cheap projector for a little more than $200, but it didn't do well in ambient light and it didn't have a clear picture. I read some reviews, and was encouraged for the most part, but a little scared about what someone said of horizontal paning.

No problems whatsoever in horizontal paning. This ViewSonic PRO8200 projector is not a compromise for a tv, it IS a tv. it turns your wall into a tv. The projector does put out good light. I played Halo on our xbox, streamed 1080p youtube videos from my computer, and watched the Gladiator starring Russel Crow all in beautiful, tear-bringing, crystal clear 1080p HD.

I'm not usually this nutty, but I am still awestruck by this projector. I can't think of any way it could be improved by buying a more expensive projector, except maybe the sound. The sound is okay, but I hooked up my computer speakers to make it a little louder. Seriously, You will find little difference between this and a more expensive projector.

if you have the same problem that I had with dark scenes, try one or two different HDMI cords. $15 to fix the problem is far better than spending another $800. Normally I'll look at Samsung first to see prices, but now my first pick will be Viewsonic.

This ViewSonic PRO8200 1080p 2,000 Lumens Home Theater Projector product earned 114 customer reviews and 88% are satisfied (as 28/02/2014). Quality products, great warranty and service, for competitive pricing. Great job viewsonic!
