Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema 3020 2D and 3D 1080p Home Theater Projector

I would recommend this Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema to anyone looking for a home projector. The price to quality ratio is fantastic. When projected on a proper screen, it has really impressed me, my family, and anyone else that comes over.
Easy to use, easy to mount, easy to set up.
Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema 3020 2D and 3D Home ... Featuring Full HD 1080p performance and a remarkable contrast ratio
Enjoy 1080p, 3D entertainment with amazing colour brightness, 40000:1 WITH Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema 3020 2D and 3D 1080p Home Theater Projector
I've watched TV, movies, and 3D movies with the family. We could not be happier with the picture quality. We primarily use the theater room just for movies. The Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema picture quality is outstanding - better than my eyes can detect. I use it on a 100 inch diagonal screen and could not be happier!
  • Color brightness: 2300 lumens
  • White brightness: 2300 lumens
  • 2D-to-3D conversion
  • Up to 40,000:1 contrast ratio
  • Includes 2 pairs of RF 3D glasses
The image is downright stunning when you play great quality blu rays, and the 3D works well beyond my expectations - simply flawless. I read a lot of helpful reviews and after putting together this setup, I am thoroughly satisfied with the results and wanted to share my thoughts. My room size is 15 feet wide by 18 feet long.
  • 1080p 3LCD - Crisp, beautiful. Until LED projectors come down in price, this is your best value.
  • Super Bright projector (2300 lumens, the 3010's had 2200). This is incredibly bright for the money range this projector is in.
  • 3D. Requires active glasses, big upgrade from the 3010 include, better picture quality during 3d movies, auto iris is now available in 3d, 2 pair glasses are included and are now RF instead of IR.
  • Appearance. Outside of missing the network jack for extending the IR signal for 3d (which isn't needed with RF now), this projector is identical.
Awesome colors and picture. I have mine setup at 120". Now at 120" you not only notice the awesome picture but you will also notice the video compression and blurs. I have a Dish Satellite and also like Direct TV they use video compression on practically every channel. Blue Ray DVD is awesome.

I used a 50 foot HDMI cable. Do your research on a good quality cable. I have a BlueRigger High Speed CL3 Rated which supports 3D and Audio Return. I also have a Kinivo 501BN Premium 5 Port High Speed HDMI Switch. My screen is 120" Elite R120WH1 ezFrame. This screens list everywhere on the web for almost $900.

This Epson V11H501020 PowerLite Home Cinema 3020 2D and 3D 1080p Home Theater Projector product earned 76 customer reviews and 94% are satisfied (as 28/02/2014). This is still an insanely great projector for home theater. It's bright, it does 3D, it's 1080p, picture looks amazing (and can be calibrated to be very close to color correct). It is a home theater projector, so it's quite large.
