AwesomePicture! Reviews Epson V11H561020 PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 1080p 3LCD Projector

I got this Epson V11H561020 PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 projector just in time for college bowl season to start and hooked it up right away. Just to test it, I set it on a table and projected it against a large white wall in my living room. The settings and adjustments were very straight-forward and easy to change.

A real plus that I have not seen mentioned elsewhere is that the Epson V11H561020 replacement bulb is only $100, which is a huge price decrease from other models which have bulbs that can range from $200-$400. The low bulb price means that you don't have to worry about using this projector as much as you want, as the consumable (the bulb) isn't that expensive.

Excelent Projector. I tried with games, movies and with my HD cable TV. Nice images and very portable. It's a very good deal for a less than 1K projector. This projector is also 3D capable, but the glasses aren't included. I have been pricing them, and the Epson RF 3D active shutter glasses are about $99 each.
The quality is truly crystal clear sharp like HD television. The one criticism is that the projector's zoom is too good. By that I mean it can project to an enormous image. Overall I am very pleased and I'm definitely keeping this Epson V11H561020 PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 machine. Its functionality and menus are far superior to my old machine and it is really easy to work with. Movies are awesome and so is football. I'm totally satisfied.
I'm now watching movies and sporting events on an awesome 155" scale, the images are bright and vivid and clear, and the best part is that my 'screen' disappears when I turn it off. There is some fan noise, and if you have the "auto iris" feature turned on (helps with black levels) then there is a little bit more noise and some dimming on scene transitions.

Overall, this is a fabulous unit in its own right, not just despite its price. I recommend if you want a great picture without forking over four figures for a projector, but don't want to spend hundreds on a piece of junk.
This Epson V11H561020 PowerLite Home Cinema 2030 1080p 3LCD Projector product earned 36 customer reviews and 92% are satisfied (as 17/01/2014). We're pretty picky about picture quality and this unit definitely delivers.
